At InnerQuest Collective, we provide trauma-informed wilderness therapy, neurofeedback, and reentry support for youth and adults in Colorado Springs. Our unique approach blends EEG biofeedback, restorative justice practices, nature-based mindfulness (Mindful Miles), and creative healing arts to foster emotional regulation, resilience, and long-term recovery.
We specialize in helping individuals transition from incarceration back into the community through brain-based therapy, CPT testing, and vocational guidance. Whether you’re seeking support for trauma, addiction, attention challenges, or stress management, InnerQuest offers a safe, empowering space to heal and grow.

Mindful Miles
Mindful Miles is a nature-based mindfulness program that uses the natural rhythm of walking to unlock emotional clarity, cognitive focus, and nervous system balance.
Students will have routine access to some of Colorado’s most breathtaking landscapes, turning each journey into both an internal and external exploration.
Why It Works. . .

Each step activates bilateral stimulation, engaging both hemispheres of the brain and increasing communication across the corpus callosum—the brain’s central bridge for processing emotions, memory, and executive function. It’s a nature-powered reset for the mind and body.
Rooted in the same science behind EMDR, rhythmic walking stimulates the brain bilaterally, helping students access calm states, process emotions, and improve focus. Combined with reflective prompts and grounding exercises, the trail becomes a therapeutic space for self-discovery and regulation.
Trail-Based Therapeutic Practices:
-
Breath & Step Syncing – Reduce anxiety and reset the nervous system
-
Symbol Search – Find natural items that mirror internal states
-
Shadow & Light Reflection – Use light/dark contrast as a metaphor for self-exploration
-
Grounding Scans – Engage all five senses to return to the present moment
-
Echo Walks – Silent walking with peers, followed by reflective sharing
